About

Since 2020 have worked as a Lecturer at the University of Tasmania co-facilitating an innovative Transformational Leadership Professional Practice Masters Program. I also co-facilitate trainings for Outdoor Health Therapy for counsellors, psychologists and therapists with Adventure Works Australia and deliver yoga and mindfulness sessions on my website.

I began exploring the interconnected territory of body, mind and heart at the age of 17, and the journey continues. In 2002 I founded Yoga from the Heart in Hobart, Tasmania, and grew and directed it until 2019. I have been fortunate to lead numerous workshops, and teacher trainings locally, nationally, and internationally over the years.

I consider myself a life-long student, studying and calibrating my practice and work as best I can to my current understandings. I was licensed in the United States as a massage therapist in 1988 and have trained extensively in yoga therapy, fascial fitness, acupressure, craniosacral therapy, yoga philosophy, non-violent communication, nervous system regulation, restorative yoga, and meditation with some of the worlds most renowned teachers. I am currently in the process of training with The Centre for Courage & Renewal as a ‘Circle of Trust’ facilitator.
