Une grande partie de la recherche manag\u00e9riale associ\u00e9e s'est concentr\u00e9e sur la recherche de moyens pour \"fournir et g\u00e9rer le sens\" par le biais du leadership ou de la culture organisationnelle.<br>Cela contraste fortement avec la litt\u00e9rature des sciences humaines qui sugg\u00e8re que la signification n'a pas besoin d'\u00eatre fournie, puisque la caract\u00e9ristique distincte d'un \u00eatre humain est qu'il ou elle a une \"volont\u00e9 de signification\" intrins\u00e8que.
