Map of Meaning as a Therapeutic Framework

  • 5 Apr 2025 (2:00 pm) to 13 Apr 2025 (10:00 am)
  • (GMT+10:00) Eastern Time - Melbourne, Sydney

Leading a meaningful life is an essential ingredient to human flourishing. However, talking about meaning can be difficult, partly because it is multi-dimensional. The Map of Meaning, a rigorously researched framework, unpacks this complexity and brings to life the question of what is meaningful to an individual in a kind, simple and generative way.

In this virtual course, you will learn how to apply the Map of Meaning to yourself, as you see how meaning is gained and lost. With this understanding  you have the skills to begin to assist clients to tease out what is meaningful to them.

This course has been specifically designed for members of The Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), a leading national peak body for the counselling and psychotherapy profession in Australia.

It genuinely was the best training I have participated in. I have an understanding of the Map that I can begin using with my clients and I have had so many insights about myself to make the Map real for me."
